This cup comfortably holds 200 ml.
It is made through the jigger jolly process with a very hard vitrified stoneware and is intended for use on special occasions but can be used everyday. It is decorated with a hand cut lino print underneath the glaze, and hand painted enamel and lustres over the glaze.
This motif is taken from the Gorse bush that is everywhere in Scotland. The very sharp thorns protect beautiful, bountiful, and lightly coconut scented flowers.
This plant has many old stories behind it including the burning bush in the Old Testament, and is also attributed to the Norse God Thor.
