Gosford House

I sometimes am able to take a Monday off from working in the studio as we usually work Saturdays.  I try to get out into the fresh air, and on this occasion, I wanted to walk around the grounds of Gosford House near Longniddry.  I loaded some Ilford HP5+ into my Fujica STX-1 and headed out.

It was a pretty miserable day, but the wind was mild.  I decided on the bus out there that I was going to push the film speed from 400 ISO.  I had read on the interwebs that HP5 is readily pushed and pulled, and I wanted to see an extreme.  I set the ISO on my camera to 3200, and set off from the studio.

I looked into Microphen developer from Ilford that claimed to keep the grain down a bit.  I am very happy with the results, and have another roll in the camera for a more urban experiment.
