I have had an interest in analogue photography for a long time, using my fathers camera, and eventually seeking out cheap charity shop treasures. I got a hand-me-down from a friend of mine who actually knows what he’s talking about. It’s great, and it has given me the tools to pursue that liminal space where you slow down, check composition, check everything… before you hit the shutter. I’ve taken a couple rolls of black and white, which I can develop myself, and a couple rolls of Kodak Colormax. I am really impressed with the camera, and the film. I hope to be shooting a couple of rolls over a short break at the end of next week. I don’t really know how it all works abroad now… whether they scan and print in 24hrs etc… or whether they’ll post me prints etc. We’ll find out I guess.
